LED bulb is polarity product. If the LED does not light on, User can pull up the bulb, rotaet 180 degree axially, reinsert and done. This is drop in replacement bulb, no need to change anything at all.

*** This bulb contains boost up circuit and occupies only 1 mm space inside the flashlight head. ( only 1 mm gap after closed down) SOLITAIRE flashlight head will not close down completely after the bulb installed. However, all the original functions of SOLITAIRE would not be affected. User should not give another screw when LED turned off !!!***
